Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, services, and travel arrangements made with Going Places Travel Pte Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a tour or making a travel arrangement with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking to secure your spot. The balance must be paid by the stated due date.

  • We reserve the right to cancel unconfirmed bookings without prior notice.

2. Pricing & Amendments

  • All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel surcharges, taxes, or other cost factors.

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices or tour arrangements, with reasonable prior notice.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made in writing (email, letter, or WhatsApp).

  • Cancellation fees apply and vary depending on the time of cancellation before departure.

  • In the event of cancellation by the customer, refunds (if any) will be processed within 4 to 6 weeks, subject to supplier terms.

4. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be included in some tour packages.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to review and upgrade coverage where necessary.

5. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

  • Customers must ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months from the departure date.

  • Visa requirements differ by country and are the responsibility of the traveller.

  • Going Places Travel will assist with visa advice where possible but is not liable for visa rejections or delays.

6. Tour Changes & Cancellations by Us

  • We reserve the right to alter the itinerary, accommodations, or transport arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, flight changes).

  • In the rare event of tour cancellation by us, a full refund or suitable alternative will be offered.

7. Customer Conduct & Responsibility

  • Travellers are expected to behave respectfully and comply with local laws and customs.

  • We reserve the right to remove any participant who poses a risk to themselves or others.

  • Travellers are responsible for their own belongings throughout the trip.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We act as an agent for airlines, hotels, and transport providers and are not liable for acts or omissions by these third parties.

  • We are not liable for losses, injuries, or expenses incurred due to delay, accident, illness, natural disaster, or other unforeseen events.

9. Photography & Marketing

  • We may take photographs or videos during tours for marketing purposes.

  • If you do not wish to appear in promotional content, please inform us in writing prior to departure.

​

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

  • Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the Singapore courts.
